I created the brand identity for Bagel Day, including logo, colour palette, packaging and marketing assets.
The goal was to capture the friendliness and warmth of a bakery with a playful and friendly twist that reflected the brand’s unique fusion of cultures in our flavours.
The identity extended across all print and digital channels, including print collateral (product signages, customer care cards, etc.), social media, and website assets for our Shopify storefront.
I managed and created content for Bagel Day’s Instagram and TikTok accounts, handling everything from filming and editing to scheduling and posting for an audience of over 3,000 followers.
By focusing on visually appealing imagery, engaging short-form videos, and working with local food/lifestyle influencers, I organically grew Bagel Day's Instagram account from 0 to 3,000+ followers, generating over 200,000 profile views per month.
While our primary and targeted audience was based in Vancouver, our content also gained traction in Toronto, Montreal, California, and New York. Social media marketing helped build a loyal local community for Bagel Day and broader brand recognition across North America.
In addition to fulfilling weekly orders, we brought our bagels directly to our community through a number of in-person events across Vancouver.
We were able to expand our reach by attending the Vancouver Farmers Market (January-May 2025), and recevied invitations to pop up at WeWork, Brex, UBC Sauder Homecoming, The Gourmet Warehouse, and many more to extend our brand experience beyond digital platforms.
Bagel Day caught the attention of local media and was organically featured by Noms Magazine ↗, Vancouver Is Awesome ↗, and Daily Hive ↗.
These outlets reached out to us after discovering us online, which helped build our presence in the Vancouver food scene at the beginning of our business and amplified our reach within the local community.
